Custom gaming PCs, built by the technicians who fix them. What began as Jade Botha’s repair bench from home in 2014 became Fix I.T. Claremont — and now PC Gaming SA, Cape Town’s home for custom gaming rigs, assembled, stress-tested, and delivered across South Africa with full local warranty.
Where It Started
While living in Hout Bay, Jade Botha managed a diamond store by day and pursued IT studies by night. Alongside, he never stopped tinkering — taking on small repair jobs for friends and family. Devices that others had written off were coming back to life.
A Friend with a Storefront
A friend who sold accessories in Rondebosch approached Jade with an idea: manage the store together, with Jade adding repairs as a value-add service. This small crew served students and locals, building a reputation for honest, quality repairs.
A Flagship and a Purpose
Jade opened the flagship Fix I.T. store in Claremont — and doubled down on a mission beyond repairs. Fix I.T. became a training ground for young professionals entering the IT trade. We also invested back into the community, providing free internet access and past exam materials to underprivileged schools across South Africa.
Evolving with the Times
When the pandemic hit, the repair industry faced severe supply-chain disruptions. Rather than compromise on quality, we pivoted to a remote, freelance technician model — maintaining our high standards and continuing to deliver expert service without the storefront overhead.
